Pandion is excited to announce a new contract with Dietech, a food service software program that’s essential for non-acute healthcare facilities such as nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care facilities. Dietech tracks a resident’s food, beverages, and other health information, and allows administrators to generate reports in a cloud-based system.
“Members of Pandion Optimization Alliance will find a significant savings by switching to Dietech,” said Terry Ovenshire, Director of Foodservice Sourcing and Business Development. “Dietech costs 10 times less than other software, and it has excellent reviews for its customer service. I strongly urge Pandion members to take advantage of our new contract with Dietech.”
Dietech allows healthcare facilities to print meal tickets with the patient’s name, room number, food, beverages, allergies, diet, and meal preferences. The tickets can be customized, sorted, alphabetized and placed in numerical order.
The software also allows administrators to generate reports. They can search for existing residents, add in new residents, discharge residents and readmit residents. Administrators can sort residents by unit, room, name, diet, age, and other metrics.
“Dietech can be integrated into your existing electronic medical records, which helps to reduce costs and save time,” said George Brodeur, President of Dietech. “It’s a cloud-based system, so there’s no need to worry about servers or maintenance.”
All of the basic features are included in the basic program – Dietech Lite. However, if facilities would like to upgrade for additional services, there are four other programs to choose from: Dietech Plus, Dietech Production, Dietech Nutritional Assessment, and eTableServ. Details are posted on Dietech’s website.
