Last week, Pandion hosted its 2nd Annual Healthcare Innovations Conference at the Rochester Riverside Hotel. It was an inspirational event featuring keynote speaker Bryan Bucklew, CEO of The Hospital Council of Northern and Central California, who talked about ways communities can create innovative partnerships to improve overall health in the community.
With over 200 attendees representing 70 different organizations, participants had opportunities to learn from local, national, and international healthcare technology companies and cutting-edge researchers about ways they are improving patient outcomes. Highlights include the nation’s 13th Mobile Stroke Unit from UR Medicine which aims to decrease time for stroke treatment in the field; 3D surgical models that are created for complex diagnoses that help surgeons become better prepared for challenging surgeries ahead; mobile apps for the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease; and innovative approaches to pharmacy.
