Pandion Donates Supplies for Students in Need

On Tuesday, May 15 Pandion Optimization Alliance donated several boxes of excess office supplies to Pencils and Paper, a program under Jewish Family Service of Rochester,  that provides free school supplies for teachers working in high poverty schools in our area.

The volunteer program began in late 2017 to help Rochester area teachers provide students in their classrooms with the tools they need to learn.  Once Pandion’s donation is delivered to their store and warehouse space at Water Tower Park on Jay St., program helpers will use our corporate stationary, envelopes and more to create notebooks and journals that teachers can shop for – for free.

During Pencils and Paper’s first year of in-store teacher shopping, they served 37 schools and over 750 teachers. That enabled over 19,000 children in need in our community to receive basic tools for leaning.

Pandion is extremely proud to be able to support such a great cause that benefits our area schools and teachers!
