Pandion is excited to announce the launch of our proprietary Hospital Utilization Group (HUG) benchmarking database. This database shares comparison reports that look at local hospital utilization rates in segmented categories (ex. Medical, Surgical, OBGYN). Hospitals are given perspective of their utilization rates based on their size via total certified beds. This is the first of several benchmark reports Pandion will be offering its members!
Benchmarking helps organizations analyze their outcomes compared to others in the same class of trade to produce actionable insight into strengths, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. It helps organizations create a competitive advantage. In addition, benchmarking is a tool that helps flow investment and resources to the right places.
Pandion's next proprietary tool, a Long-term Care Cost Comparison (LTCCC) database, will be complete in May. This LTCCC database will replace the former RAHSA Cost Comparison from previous years. This benchmark report compares long term care and skilled nursing facilities spend on a per bed basis on over 200 different variables in 25 different categories, including: New Admissions, New Hires, Property Costs, Support Services, Pharmacy, Ancillary Costs, and many more!
All our databases are cloud-based applications that are accessible anywhere. If you are interested in more information, please contact me at mrombaut@pandionalliance.com.
Look out for more benchmark reports to come in 2018! We will be producing other spend reports based on class of trade in the coming months!
